Estimation

Didactical quality: Didactically prepared material
Overall estimation: recommendable
Estimation remarks: Although research ethics is only one issue among others, the rather long chapter (4, pp. 148-187) devoted to it gives a good introduction to the ethics of medical research both in historical and analytical perspective. Case studies are provided together with questions which are intended to guide the analysis. Important codes and documents are reprinted at the end of the book (pp. 249-259) which make it a valuable source for training courses.
