Description: Singapore is a young country but a global player in economics and increasingly in biomedical research. It is a great honour for Singapore to host the Congress, and we believe it will go far to establish Singapore as a regional centre and facilitator for bioethics. It also provides a great opportunity for delegates to consider the theme of the Congress, which is Bioethics in a Globalised World.
The WCB is a major conference and we are sure you would not be on this page unless you have some desire to be here in 2010. We have laid out the site to make it as easy as we can for you to get the information you need, and to make the registration process as simple as possible. We have also tried to make it easy for you to give us feedback, so that we can quickly improve anything not up to expectation.
The programme will develop as registration proceeds, but the themes already provide an indication of the direction of the Congress. We also plan to make available a variety of recommendations and options for social and cultural events, and generally to ensure you have a good chance to take advantage of leisure moments during your visit.
We look forward to welcoming you in 2010.
